A rhythm for the day, with room to pray
Daily Devotions brings together the Book of Common Prayer’s four short devotions for individuals and families: Morning, Noon, Early Evening, and Close of Day. The app can follow the local hour or let the reader choose a service; its prayer text is bundled for offline use. Each launch begins with a fresh, coordinated color palette, with light, dark, or system appearance and adjustable type size. Version 1.2 refines the Morning service: chant-pointing asterisks have been removed, the Apostles’ Creed may be said after the reading and silence rubric and before the prayers that follow, and every Lord’s Prayer uses the English Standard Version text from Matthew 6:9–13. Saved appearance and reading-size preferences remain compatible. This is an independent personal Scriptable app, not an official Episcopal Church app. The v1.2 source and Prayer Book placement were reviewed and the standalone script was generated. The accompanying images are phone-width Chromium browser previews, not captures from Scriptable on an iPhone. Automated suites were not run for this content revision, and actual iPhone rendering, Safari source handoff, and Keychain persistence remain to be confirmed.
